How chickens get your name in the LA Times

So what’s the story about me being cited in the LA Times of September 6, 2005?  Everybody knows my opinion that chickens are going to be the Chanel of the next years. And yes, you all had your fun when I decided to construct my own hen house, although the material was a birthday present. Meanwhile I left a note in the guestbook of the really great chicken cam site of Nicky Vasalini. This message was picked up by LA Times reporter Claudia Zequeira who contacted me by email with a couple of questions. These questions resulted in quite some email conversations between us, which became professionally distilled to its essence by Miss Zequeira. So, I’ve had my 0.3 seconds of fame in a Los Angeles Newspaper, now all back to our life. Curly Goddess and I keep in touch with Claudia and if she would ever come to Europe, we (included our chickens Thelma & Louise) will always give her a warm welcome in Ghent or in our “country house” in Mariakerke.
